Turkey renewable energy (wind, water, solar, geothermal, bio-fuel, etc.) in terms of facilities, one of the world's richest countries. At the same time, the need for energy in our country, which has experienced a rapid economic development, is constantly increasing accordingly. With the incentives for renewable energy products provided by the state, this sector is expected to become the most dynamically growing sector in the country in the future.
In addition to having a developed industrial infrastructure, easy access to foreign markets thanks to its port, many universities and R&D centers, a wide range of transportation and logistics capabilities and qualified manpower, İzmir is also located in a region rich in many renewable energy resources.
Wind energy is particularly important for the region. Approximately 12,000 because wind energy has the potential to be mw'hk power Izmir who have received significant investments in this area, established in 1998 in Turkey is home to the first wind power plant. The installed power of the Wind Power Plant (WPP) has reached the limit of 1.549 MW currently and is planned to reach 2,000 MW in the next 2 years, the leading city of the wind energy sector in our country.
