Technological and high value added products with the goal of access to global markets, Turkey has for a long time as a national strategy to increase the strength in international markets is adopted. In particular, innovative SMEs' access to finance, capacity building, commercialization and internationalization activities are supported. In this context, ARINKOM Technology Transfer Office and ANAÇ Pre-Incubation Center, which were established to contribute to Eskişehir's innovation ecosystem, support entrepreneurship projects to increase the technology readiness levels of the developed products from 3 to 6. However, after this stage, a mechanism is needed to increase the technology preparation levels from 6 to 9, in other words, to contribute to the commercialization of products.

Eskişehir Technical University, which aims to increase the technology readiness of the products developed by the entrepreneur SMEs in the T41 region consisting of Bursa, Bilecik and Eskişehir provinces, and the commercialization of innovative products, is implementing the "Advanced Prototype Station (IPI)" to support SMEs.

More than 60% of the companies in the Eskişehir Technology Development Zone operate in the fields of information and communication technology, virtual reality / augmented reality, manufacturing and advanced materials (nano materials, high-strength materials, plastics, implants, etc.). These four sectors, which will contribute to the development of the region if supported, were chosen as the focus sectors of the project.

Within the scope of IPI, first of all, a central building and four support stations for selected focus sectors will be built. Stations where advanced prototypes will be produced will be equipped with laboratory, manufacturing, prototyping and visual processing equipment. IPI will not only provide an installed location of equipment for entrepreneurs to be ready for commercialization, but will also provide training on equipment. With IPI, entrepreneurs will gain awareness of investment finance channels and global opportunities and learn how to reach them. SMEs selected within the scope of the project will be included in the accelerator program that includes topics such as promotion, marketing and financial planning. SMEs and start-ups that will benefit from the accelerator program will receive support in networking by participating in international events within the scope of post-incubation services.

At the end of the project, it is aimed to establish or support a technology transfer office or related structure (technology development zone, accelerator, incubator, etc.). 50 SMEs to benefit from this structure established or supported; It is expected to obtain 2 international and 3 national patents and commercialize an eco-innovative product. Benefiting from the training program of 30 SMEs within the scope of capacity building activities; It is planned to draft 10 national patents.

The Advanced Prototype Station will provide SMEs with the opportunity to complement their products and systems as well as start-up opportunities for creative entrepreneurs; will contribute to the socio-economic development of the TR41 region by increasing commercialization through technology transfer and prototypes that turn into final products.
