Press Release Rules for the Beneficiaries

Competitive Sectors Program, the Republic of Turkey and the European Union co-financed by the Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) is executed under.

As with any project benefiting from European Union (EU) funds, you are expected to comply with EU visibility rules when sharing information about your project in audiovisual channels. In addition, there are visibility rules expected to be followed within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Program implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. In this context, I would like to ask you for your information to take into account the issues that we expect you to pay attention to in your content such as bulletins, speeches and / or statements that are informative to the public and can be included in the press regarding your project realized within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Program, and the details are as below.

 

     1. Press release
Press releases related to the project are expected to include the following content:

"Project XXX, the European Union and the Republic of Turkey in the framework of financial cooperation, funded and carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Competitive Industries is carried out within the scope of the program. With the program, it is aimed to provide social and economic development by increasing the competitiveness of SMEs and entrepreneurs. "

Brief information about the Competitive Sectors Program can also be included in the press release. The sample of the press release can be seen at the bottom of this page.

 

     2. Opening / Welcome Speeches
At your public events, when preparing a speech for the representative of your organization, basic information about the Competitive Sectors Program that your project is supported should be provided. Below is a sample text that can be used at public events, in the absence of an EU or Ministry representative.

"Co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Turkey to ensure the integration of Turkey into the EU economy is one of the programs carried out Competitive Sectors Program. This Program, implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, aims at the development of our country in the field of "Competitiveness and Innovation" in line with global trends by supporting projects in research and development, manufacturing industry, technology transfer and commercialization, development of tourism infrastructure, creative industries and capacity building.

Our project, along with many different projects conducted in various provinces of Turkey, receives financial support under this program. "

If there is an EU or Ministry representative at your event, time should be set aside for them to address the target audience.

 

     3. Radio / TV Interviews
When talking about your Project implemented under the Competitive Sectors Program in television or radio interviews, the following message is expected:

"Our project is being financed and the Republic of Turkey as part of a comprehensive joint operational program with the financial support of the European Union. The program is run by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Through this program, we are working to contribute to social and economic development by increasing the competitiveness of SMEs and entrepreneurs through (NAME OF YOUR PROJECT). "
