Altınşehir Gemology Laboratory and Adjustment House, which was built within the scope of the "Kahramanmaraş Gold and Jewelry Center" project, jointly financed by the Republic of Turkey and the European Union, with the Ministry of Industry and Technology as the operating authority and supported within the scope of our Program, was honored by our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mustafa Varank. Altın Şehir Kuyumculuk was opened within the Specialized Small Industrial Site.

Making the opening speeches of the program, Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Jewelers Mustafa Öz, Interior Commission President Kahramanmaraş Deputy Celalettin Güvenç and Head of the European Union Delegation to Turkey Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut; They wished that Altınşehir Gemology Laboratory and Adjustment House would contribute to the jewelry industry of our city and our country, and wished it to be auspicious.

Governor Ömer Faruk Coşkun said, “As it is known, our province is the second city in Turkey, after Istanbul, with the highest labor force and production capacity in gold processing. Thanks to the Altınşehir Jewelery Specialized Small Industrial Site, which has been newly added to our city, which has become a brand in the gold sector, the effectiveness of our city in the sector has become a little more noticeable with each passing day.

I would like to express my gratitude to all our stakeholders, especially our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mustafa Varank, and our esteemed deputies, for the acquisition of Kuyumcukent in our province, and I hope that the Gemology Laboratory and Adjustment House will bring goodness for our province and country." he said.

In his speech; Stating that Kahramanmaraş has an exceptional place in their hearts with its history, culture, industry and potential, Minister of Industry and Technology Mr. Mustafa Varank said, "With this project, we have increased the competitiveness of our companies that are trying to produce with insufficient means, improving their competitive power. When the industrial site, which provides employment, operates at full capacity, it will be able to offer 8 thousand or even 10 thousand people the opportunity to work under one roof.

We have completed a new investment that will contribute to building a gold and jewelery manufacturing ecosystem that will create global value first for our city and then for our country. We are in your presence on the occasion of the opening of Altınşehir Jewelery Specialization Industry Site Gemology Laboratory and Adjustment House, which will be a very valuable actor in terms of the ecosystem. With this project, we transformed the existing Design and 3D Modeling Center into a design center with advanced technology design capabilities by improving the machinery, equipment, computer and software infrastructure. Now, our companies will be able to produce models of their own designs in a much shorter time, in a much different variety, with less cost and more safely."

Minister Mustafa Varank, Governor Coşkun and members of the protocol made examinations at Altınşehir Gemology Laboratory and Adjustment House after the opening and received information from the President of Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Jewelers, Mustafa Öz.

Minister Varank, who also visited the Kahramanmaraş Design and 3D Modeling Center, which was established in Karacasu Campus in partnership with Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (KSU), Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency (DOĞAKA), Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KMTSO), and Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Jewelers, received information from the authorities.
