The promotional event “Competitive Sectors Programme: Impact and Beyond” will be held in person and online on 15th and 16th March 2021. The event aims promoting projects contributing to the targets of the CSP and hence the industry policy of Turkey and European Union.
In the meeting to be attended by our Minister Mr. Mustafa Varank, the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Mr. Faruk Kaymakcı, Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey Mr. Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut, as well as Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs Mr. Mustafa Erdoğan will make the opening speeches.
The Keynote Speech will be delivered by Mr. Hasan Mandal, President of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).
The End Recipients of the projects supported under our Program will also attend and some projects will be presented.
There will be also panels where issues that our Program is related such as Research and Development, Energy and Green Deal, Creative Industries will be discussed. These sessions will be important to discuss the current situation in the sectors and the way forward.
The second day of the event is entirely dedicated to the projects. The IPA 1 and IPA 2 impact and lessons learnt will be discussed, but also the future under IPA 3. The presentation of each project will follow and after ERAs will gather in separate rooms to further discuss specific and technical topics. After these sessions, the findings will be presented in the plenary session again.
There will also be informal networking opportunities. The event will be live streamed and online participation will be managed with all online participants.
All the necessary precautions stipulated by the Ministry of Health and Ankara Governorship will be respected to prevent any undue risks to the participants resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
This event will be attended by many high authorities, Public institutions, Ambassadors of EU Member States, ERAs and the entire event will be covered by national media (TV, printed and social media).
