Second Knowledge Multipliers Training for Horizon Europe has been organized with participants from over 70 in the Horizon Europe area within the scope of the Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase-II Project which is supported under the Competitive Sectors Programme co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, and Scientific and Technological Research of Turkey (TUBITAK) as its beneficiary and operated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, on September 21, 2020.
The event, which was held by the TÜBİTAK Horizon 2020 Energy Field National Contact Point, Mr. Çağrı Yıldırım, continued with his opening speech, again with his mention of the importance of Horizon Europe for Turkish stakeholders. At the end of Mr.Yıldırım's speech, the project team of the Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase-II was invited to make their presentations.
Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase-II Project experts made presentations on Europe's political priorities and an introduction on the implementation of the program. In the ongoing presentations, information about Horizon Europe, the future of the Framework Program was given. In this context, while handling each component of the Program and the programs under these components, active participation was encouraged for the participants through instant survey questions throughout the presentations. Following the Introduction to Horizon Europe session, a Question and Answer session was held in order to answer the questions of the participants.
Continuing the event, a session dedicated to information about the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the National Focal Point in Horizon Europe (NCP) system was held within the scope of Horizon Europe, presented by experts from the Italian Framework Programs Coordination Office (APRE). The experts highlighted important information about EIC Accelerator and EIC within the scope of Horizon Europe, while also highlighting the developments regarding NCP systems for Horizon Europe and the importance of the NCP system. Useful references and resources for successful implementation were also shared at the end of the presentation.
Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase-II project team also gave a short presentation about the place the European Research and Innovation Days. The advantages of the Research and Innovation Days were also mentioned by informing about the event sessions to be held on September 22-24.
